Los Angeles. Jack Dorsey has created a new social media app.
The social media platform created by Dorsey is called BlueSky. Dorsey is the founder and former CEO of Twitter.
For now, this app is only available on the iOS platform. An invitation is also required to use this app.
BlueSky is currently available on Apple's App Store. It can be searched and downloaded. Looking at the screenshots in BlueSky's app description, BlueSky looks a lot like Twitter.
The retweet option has been replaced by the repost option. The app's circular profile picture, followers and following count, bold account name, and gray handle are reminiscent of Twitter.
In 2019, the then-CEO of Twitter, Jack Darcy, clarified the purpose of the BlueSky team. BlueSky's app will have a simple interface.
Content of 256 characters can be posted on it. A picture can also be attached. BlueSky app will also have other features like sharing, muting, and blocking accounts.
